Rudaj stands out in organized crime, particularly for his leadership of the Rudaj Organization, an Albanian mafia group based in the New York City metropolitan area. Born in Ulcinj, Montenegro, Rudaj immigrated to the United States in 1987, eventually achieving infamous renown in the criminal underworld.
Rudaj’s violent methods and extensive criminal activities have garnered him a notorious reputation. Federal prosecutors linked him to a series of violent crimes, including a dramatic 1996 shooting incident. In this event, Rudaj fired at another organized crime figure from the sunroof of a car during a high-speed chase through the Bronx.
