Madea’s Family Reunion, directed by Tyler Perry, features a strong cast led by Tyler Perry himself (known for Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea Goes to Jail, and A Fall from Grace), who reprises his role as Mabel “Madea” Simmons. Blair Underwood (L.A. Law, Set It Off, Quantico) plays Carlos, while Lynn Whitfield (The Josephine Baker Story, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Greenleaf) stars as Victoria. Boris Kodjoe (Soul Food, Brown Sugar, Station 19) appears as Frankie, and Lisa Arrindell Anderson (A Lesson Before Dying, The Sin Seer, Saints & Sinners) portrays Vanessa. Maya Angelou (Poetic Justice, How to Make an American Quilt, Roots) plays May, while Cicely Tyson (The Help, Sounder, Fried Green Tomatoes) makes a memorable appearance as Myrtle.
